Welcome, kindred spirit
I’m Lou, a singer, songwriter, educator, choral director, somatic coach, ceremonialist, and yogi who pilgrimaged here from Appalachia in 2020.
I’m interested in the voice as portal, the voice as guru: the breath that carries it, the body that holds it, the moments when it opens easily and the moments when it won’t come at all.
This curiosity led me into the intersections of somatics, vocal expression, grief work, and spiritual devotion. So much of our humanity is crystalized in our voices. I work with that wisdom.
People come to me for all kinds of reasons. Some want to develop their vocal technique and receive classical training. Some feel blocked or disconnected and want to sing more freely. Some just have a sense that there’s more there than what’s been coming through.
What I offer is a space to slow down and listen closely. Gently. Intuitively. From there, we discover the deeper undercurrents where soul speaks.
